The initiative features an after-school STEM club during the winter months and a week-long residential program on McMaster\u2019s campus in July.<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li><strong>Target Audience:<\/strong> Black high school students from Hamilton and Halton<\/li>\n<li><strong>Program Highlights:<\/strong> Engaging hands-on STEM experiences, leadership growth<\/li>\n<li><strong>Social Media:<\/strong> <a href=\"https:\/\/www.instagram.com\/macistep_\/\">Instagram<\/a><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<h3><strong><a href=\"https:\/\/www.beststem.ca\/\">BEST STEM Program<\/a><\/strong><\/h3>\n<p>Part of I-STEP, the BEST STEM Program caters to younger students (Grades 5-8) from Black, Indigenous, and LatinX backgrounds. It provides after-school initiatives designed to pave the way into STEM education and career opportunities.
