The new leadership has been entrusted to enthusiastic high school students in Ontario who are dedicated to STEM and aim to connect with others through monthly newsletters on STEM-related themes and captivating scientific and mathematical subjects.<\/p>\n
What can you anticipate from STEM from Scratch?<\/p>\n
STEM is a swiftly evolving and dynamic area, and our team\u2019s primary objective is to enhance accessibility for entry and participation through this organization. We aspire to raise awareness about opportunities, workshops, and activities that delve into various facets of STEM for students. Through this initiative, we seek to assist students in discovering practical experiences in their chosen fields and nurture their enthusiasm for science and technology through interactive activities. Additionally, we intend to offer resources spanning different sectors of STEM to enrich our readers\u2019 understanding while helping them pinpoint which specific STEM subjects resonate with them the most.<\/p>\n
So, what will this entail?<\/p>\n
That\u2019s a great inquiry! We have numerous initiatives planned for you. One of the projects we intend to launch will be organizing events, such as coding and\/or math workshops primarily aimed at younger students in elementary school and within our team\u2019s local vicinity. We are currently on the lookout for hackathons in computer science, math competitions, and interactive workshops focused on topics like health sciences as extraordinary opportunities. We will ensure that these events are accessible not just in our team\u2019s immediate area, but wherever our readers are located!
