
Queen’s University – Science Summer Program 2025
Program Summary:
This complimentary, online initiative takes place from July through mid-August 2025. It features 12 afternoon sessions that examine subjects in physics, chemistry, and technology. Undergraduate students and researchers affiliated with the McDonald Institute and the Carbon to Metal Coating Institute will conduct the sessions. Attendees will participate in interactive activities and explore complex themes like dark matter and nanomedicine.
- Cost: Complimentary
- Intended Participants: A limited group of middle and high school students, including those graduating in 2025. While the majority of sessions occur online, students based in Kingston, Ontario may have the choice to participate in person.
- Application Details: Applications officially closed on May 21, 2025, yet submissions for waitlist positions are still being accepted. The program is anticipated to resume in 2026.
