## MakerKids STEM Summer Camps

MakerKids STEM Summer Camps take place at three locations throughout the GTA, aimed at children aged 6-13 (Grades 1-8) with week-long sessions operating from 9:00 AM – 3:30 PM, Monday to Friday. These day camps provide optional before and aftercare services.

MakerKids boasts a 5:1 child-to-staff ratio, offering award-winning STEM education and promoting a healthy relationship with technology through daily outdoor activities and screen time breaks.
### Program Topics:
– **Mini Makers (Grades 1-2):** Fundamentals of Coding, Robotics, and Minecraft.
– **Idea Incubator (Grades 3-8):** Comprehensive STEM involvement with coding, robotics, and Minecraft.
– **Coding Camps (Grades 3-8):** Game development using Scratch, focusing on game design and character creation.
– **Robotics Camps (Grades 3-8):** Practical electronic inventions utilizing microcontrollers.
– **3D Video Game World Design – NEW 2025 (Grades 5-8):** Discover 3D world creation using Unreal Engine.
– **Minecraft Camps (Grades 1-8):** Acquire skills in coding, electronics, and 3D design leveraging Minecraft as a medium.
