Queen’s University – Science Summer 2025
Program Summary:
This complimentary, online program takes place from July to mid-August 2025. It includes 12 afternoon sessions focusing on subjects in physics, chemistry, and technology. The sessions are guided by undergraduate students and researchers from the McDonald Institute and the Carbon to Metal Coating Institute. Participants will take part in practical activities and explore complex topics such as dark matter and nanomedicine.
- Cost: No charge
- Intended Participants: A select group of middle and high school students, which includes those graduating in 2025. Most sessions are virtual, but students in Kingston, Ontario may have the opportunity to attend physically.
- Application Details: Applications officially closed on May 21, 2025, yet are still being considered for waitlisted positions. The program is anticipated to proceed in 2026.
