Queen’s University – Summer of Science 2025
Program Synopsis:
This complimentary, online program operates from July until mid-August 2025. It includes 12 afternoon sessions that examine areas in physics, chemistry, and technology. The sessions are conducted by undergraduate scholars and researchers from the McDonald Institute and the Carbon to Metal Coating Institute. Participants will partake in practical activities and explore advanced subjects such as dark matter and nanomedicine.
- Cost: No charge
- Intended Participants: A select group of middle and high school students, including those graduating in 2025. Most sessions will be online, but students in Kingston, Ontario may have the possibility to participate in person.
- Application Details: Applications officially closed on May 21, 2025, but submissions for waitlisted positions are still being accepted. The program is anticipated to persist in 2026.
