Welcome Again to Our Community

Welcome to the Monthly Newsletter of STEM from Scratch!

It’s great to see you again in the monthly newsletter of STEM from Scratch! It has been some time since our last communication. If you’re not aware, STEM from Scratch is a non-profit organization that has recently undergone a relaunch. The leadership has now been entrusted to enthusiastic high school students from Ontario who are dedicated to STEM and are eager to connect with others through monthly newsletters centered around STEM-related and intriguing scientific and mathematical subjects.

What can you anticipate from STEM from Scratch?

STEM is an exciting and rapidly evolving domain, and our primary objective is to make entry and participation more accessible for all through this organization. We plan to raise awareness about various opportunities, workshops, and activities that delve into different facets of STEM for students. Through this initiative, we seek to assist students in discovering hands-on experiences in their chosen fields and nurturing their enthusiasm for science and technology through engaging activities. We are also committed to supplying resources across the diverse sectors of STEM to enrich our readers’ understanding while helping them determine which specific STEM topics resonate the most with them.

So, what will this entail specifically?

Excellent question! We have numerous exciting plans ahead for you. One of the initiatives we intend to launch will include hosting events, such as coding and/or math workshops primarily focused on younger students in elementary schools within our team’s local vicinity. We are actively exploring opportunities such as hackathons for computer science, math competitions, and interactive workshops centered on topics like health sciences. Moreover, we will ensure that these opportunities extend beyond our immediate team’s area, reaching wherever our readers are located! We believe that these experiences will serve as fantastic avenues for involvement in STEM and the pursuit of your passions.
