Age Group: 6-13 years (Grades 1-8)
Program Duration: Week-long camps, 9:00 AM – 3:30 PM (Monday-Friday)
Program Type: Day camps with optional before and aftercare
Program Description: MakerKids provides award-winning STEM day camps featuring a 5:1 child-to-staff ratio, emphasizing essential technology skills. The program incorporates daily outdoor time and regular screen breaks to encourage a healthy relationship with technology.
Program Topics:
- Mini Makers (Grades 1-2): Basics of Coding, Robotics, and Minecraft
- Idea Incubator (Grades 3-8): Broad STEM exposure through coding, robotics, and Minecraft
- Coding Camps (Grades 3-8): Game design with Scratch, character development, and basic programming skills
- Robotics Camps (Grades 3-8): Create and build electronic projects with microcontrollers
- 3D Video Game World Design – NEW 2025 (Grades 5-8): Develop 3D environments using Unreal Engine
- Minecraft Camps (Grades 1-8): Explore coding, electronics, 3D design, and server management through Minecraft
