Queen’s University – Summer of Science 2025

Program Summary:
This complimentary, online program takes place from July through mid-August 2025. It includes 12 afternoon sessions that investigate subjects in physics, chemistry, and technology. Sessions are conducted by undergraduate scholars and researchers from the McDonald Institute and the Carbon to Metal Coating Institute. Participants will take part in practical activities and explore advanced subjects like dark matter and nanomedicine.

  • Intended Audience: A limited number of middle and high school students, including those set to graduate in 2025. Most sessions will be virtual, though students in Kingston, Ontario might have the possibility of attending in person.

University of Waterloo – eSTEM Program

Program Summary:
The eSTEM (English, Science, Technology, Engineering, and Mathematics) initiative is a 10-day online summer workshop running from August 5 to August 22, 2025 for participants aged 13–18. It merges STEM education with English language enhancement, making it perfect for those wishing to boost both their technical and communicative abilities. Sessions are facilitated by skilled instructors and emphasize real-world STEM applications.


University of Toronto – DEEP Summer Academy (Da Vinci Engineering Enrichment Program)

Program Summary:
Conducted on-site at the University of Toronto St. George, the DEEP Summer Academy is intended for secondary school learners interested in engineering, science, technology, and business. Guided by graduate research scholars, the program focuses on cooperative, hands-on instruction and addressing real-world challenges.
