Queen’s University – Science Summer 2025
Program Summary:
This complimentary, online program takes place from July to mid-August 2025. It includes 12 afternoon sessions that investigate subjects in physics, chemistry, and technology. Facilitated by undergraduate students and researchers affiliated with the McDonald Institute and the Carbon to Metal Coating Institute, these sessions will feature hands-on activities and cover advanced topics like dark matter and nanomedicine.
- Cost: Free
- Intended Participants: A select group of middle and high school students, including those graduating in 2025. While most sessions are held virtually, students located in Kingston, Ontario might have the opportunity for in-person attendance.
- Application Details: Applications officially closed on May 21, 2025, yet applications for waitlisted positions are still being considered. The program is anticipated to run again in 2026.
