Queen’s University – Science Summer 2025
Program Details:
This complimentary, online program is scheduled from July to mid-August 2025. It features 12 afternoon sessions that investigate themes in physics, chemistry, and technology. The sessions are conducted by undergraduate students and researchers affiliated with the McDonald Institute and the Carbon to Metal Coating Institute. Participants will partake in practical activities and explore advanced subjects such as dark matter and nanomedicine.
- Cost: Free
- Intended Participants: A select group of middle and high school students, including those graduating in 2025. While most sessions are virtual, students located in Kingston, Ontario may have the opportunity to join in person.
- Application Details: Applications officially closed on May 21, 2025, but are still open for waitlisted candidates. The program is anticipated to extend into 2026.
