Location: Three GTA sites
Age Group: 6-13 years (Grades 1-8)
Program Duration: Week-long sessions, 9:00 AM – 3:30 PM (Monday-Friday)
Program Type: Day camps with optional before/aftercare
Program Description: MakerKids provides award-winning STEM day camps featuring a 5:1 child-to-staff ratio, emphasizing essential technology skills. Each day includes time at the park and regular screen breaks to encourage a healthy connection with technology.
Program Topics:
- Mini Makers (Grades 1-2): Introduction to Coding, Robotics, and Minecraft
- Idea Incubator (Grades 3-8): Extensive STEM exposure across coding, robotics, and Minecraft
- Coding Camps (Grades 3-8): Game creation using Scratch, character development, and programming basics
- Robotics Camps (Grades 3-8): Create and construct electronic inventions with microcontrollers
- 3D Video Game World Design – NEW 2025 (Grades 5-8): Build 3D environments utilizing Unreal Engine
- Minecraft Camps (Grades 1-8): Explore coding, electronics, 3D design, and server management through Minecraft
