Hiatus Interruptus!

For those who don’t follow me on social media, I’m not in Bad Kissingen receiving healing ministrations to my spine but have been back in my humble abode on the outskirts of Erlangen since Wednesday. Why, you might well ask. The answer is as simply as it is tragic. I went to Bad Kissingen to improve my health but after just one day of treatment, which for various reasons only began on the Monday five days after my arrival, I went down with the world’s most widespread virus Covid 19!

Felling like shit by the time the clinic had me driven home on Wednesday, I have been contemplating the irony that I had to go into hospital to finally get struck down by the virus that stopped the world.

I haven’t felt up to blogging, so I haven’t, but am now starting to emerge from the depths of my sickbed and barring a relapse, I shall recommence duties as your friendly neighbourhood history of science blogger on the coming Wednesday.
