Queen’s University – Summer of Science 2025
Program Synopsis:
This complimentary, online program takes place from July until mid-August 2025. It features 12 afternoon sessions that investigate areas in physics, chemistry, and technology. The sessions are conducted by undergraduate students and researchers affiliated with the McDonald Institute and the Carbon to Metal Coating Institute. Participants will take part in interactive activities and explore advanced subjects like dark matter and nanomedicine.

- Intended Participants: A limited group of middle and high school students, including those graduating in 2025. Most sessions will be virtual, yet students located in Kingston, Ontario might have the possibility to attend in person.
- Application Details: Applications officially closed on May 21, 2025, but spots for waitlisted candidates are still being accepted. The program is planned to continue in 2026.
